Default Golf vs Wife/Kids

Before married:
- driving range at least once a week
- played regularly at the course at least once a week
- played some local/club tournaments
- scored between 75-85
- bought some new equipment, sometimes if I don't like it, I put it on eBay and made some profit

After married:
- driving range = never
- play at the course once a month, if I'm lucky
- score down to 90s, thanks to my short game that I still can count on to save some par
- wife is my CFO, not possible to buy newer stuff
- I occasionally lie to her (hide my bag at friend's, pay the course by cash so she wouldn't know, told her that I'm on a meeting while I play at the course, etc.)
- wife isn't a sporty type of woman, tried to take her to the range but didn't work

I must confess that I almost love golf more than I love my wife. To me, golf is much more than just a mere sport/exercise. Golf is not only go out, enjoy the nature and banters with friends. Golf is much more than that. I couldn't imagine myself living without golf.

How do you guys manage this never ending battle?
