Default The House That Sports Central Built

Well, apartment that I'm moving to next month and I'm stoked! I think a change of scenery will do me well. It's brand new, which is a big plus!

Looks nice as far as apartments go. But I have to ask does anyone need that much shelf space in their shower?

Nice place. Looks like it's going to be comfortable.

Is it just one bedroom? Do you share your outside patio with the next door neighbors? It certainly looks like they take much better care of the outside of the apartment than my landlords do.

I can't figure out the need for the three window panes side-by-side moving diagonally down the wall, though.

Probably because it is a brand new development and nobody has been living there long enough to hog the place up. Give it a few years and it will probably look like any other complex.

Those are the stairway windows. I like the way they light the place up.:thumbsup2:

But, they have a flower bed, which is already a gigantic step up from my apartment complex.

I didn't catch that in the second picture. I only saw them in the first picture, where they truly caught my eye.

I still don't get it, but it's not as obnoxious in the stairway as it would be in the apartment itself.

Haha, no idea ... but better too much than too little. It's a garden tub, while not a separate walk-in shower like I want, is an upgrade from my current.

It is a 1 BR and I have a private balcony. The whole area is new and very nice. Very convenient shopping centers right across the street, etc.

I will miss DirecTV and Sunday Ticket. But there's no feasible way to get the wiring from the dish on the balcony to my bedroom and TV location in the living room ... would be messy and destructive. So I think I am going with Time Warner and probably saving $50 a month. I just signed the lease and move in April 11. You all are invited to the big housewarming party, airfare not included!

Yeah, I don't know that many apartments feature walk-in showers. At least I cannot remember seeing any in my years of apartment hunting that had them. I would suspect you'd have to go to more high end complexes to get that.

Looks good, Marc. I have that same bath tub in my house. doublee's comment about the shower shelves made me laugh. I thought the same thing...then I got married. We could use a few more shelves...

I like what you've done with the place, Marc. Lets see what it looks like after the first party, though.
