Default Tough choice ahead for NFL

Here's the story. What do you think should be done? A 16-game schedule still and reduce the number of wildcards or play 15 games and have the same number of wildcards? The way I see it, those who are expecting to barely make it in with the wildcard are against reducing the number of wildcard teams for obvious reasons, yet teams like the Chargers will benefit for an extra game since their bye was this week. Thoughts?

I think they should play all 16 games, and reduce the number of wild-card teams. I think that the 16 game season is important.

16 game season....that way I can see my Browns more.
Why can't they just bump everything back a week and make the Super Bowl a week later?

I thought that at first, too, but it is probably because everything is so planned and it would be a major catostrophe if all the dates changed. Arena leases would need to be changed, travel arrangements changed, etc.

Ah ok... makes sense. Well if they do 16 games i's gonna be tough to make the playoffs this year.

Well, it looks like they are keeping the 16-game schedule. Good choice, IMO.

Right, good decision. If the NFL can manage to correctly schedule everything so everything fits together with the extra week (will be tricky), everyone will be thankful.
