Default What is your Favorite Sporting Event in April?

Mine is Opening Day in Major League Baseball. I just love baseball and keeping up with the players and stats and having debates. What is yours? Is it the Championship Game in NCAA Basketball or is it the NFL Draft or what?

Mine is the NBA Playoffs. I've never really been into baseball, but I watch the Expos from time to time. The NBA Playoffs are playoffs for my favorite league of my favorite sport.

I added the Masters to the poll as it's the most obvious ommission being golf's first major and one of golf's longest-running tournaments.

However, I'm gonna go with the NHL playoffs. Not just the first round, but the weeks leading up to it.... 9 points separating 2nd from 11th in the West, and 9 points separating 6th from 11th in the East. It's crazy. Plus, the early rounds in April is some of the best hockey in the Stanley Cup tournament.... Heck, who am I kidding!?... it's ALL the best hockey, even through May and into June

I picked NBA playoffs - the NCAA tourney would be my choice, but it's only one game in this month, so it didn't get my vote.

NCAA is March

Opening day baseball ends the God awful stretch between the end of NFL in January and the start of MLB in April. Second for me is the NFL draft.

No, I think he voted for baseball! He's saying how it ends the boring period between NFL and MLB.
