This will work out for Theo in the end. He is the younger of the 2 and by far more consistant. Habs will keep the 2 goalie system to establish themselves this year and eventually trade Hackett around December unless he gets hurt again. As far as the 2 goalie system goes, it worked for the Sens. They stuck with Rhodes the first year in the playoffs but were too young/immature to continue. They also lacked the depth. Second year was with Tugnutt and same thing happened. So far this year, Lalime has been up and down. Montreal has a great thing going for them right now and will ride it down as far as they can. Go Sens Go. If ya can't, Go Habs Go.

Ha, they won't trade Hackett. At least, they shouldn't. He's their insurance policy between the pipes. They need him.

He's also the highest paid backup in the NHL. I think he will be traded.
