Exclamation Who Will Win The BCS??

From the guy who asked you who will win the Super Bowl, who will win the BCS? It is coming down to the wires with the season ending. Who will come out on top? You decide.

The bigger debate is who is second at this point. Obviously USC, now that OSU lost.

Maybe not...LSU is playing very well. If they win out I think they deserve to play Oklahoma over USC.

Christ! RTK and I agree on something. LSU has the tougher schedule and might top USC because of it if they win out. Damn the Trojans to hell.........

Everyone thinks OU's defense is just the best ever, and well it is very very good no doubts, but LSU's defense is no slouch at all. Both defenses are out of this world, but LSU's is predicated on blitzing and pressure. I want to see how good Jason White is under continuous blitzing and pressure.

I think OU vs. USC and OU vs. LSU would both be good games, but I would just like to see the OU vs. LSU matchup more.

Joey, I tend to take your tack. I think the LSU defense would be a better challenge for the OU offense, but I'm not sure the Tigers, if they fell more than 3 behind, have the offensive firepower to get back in it. SC, I think, does have that firepower...

Dave, great point about LSU not having the offensive guns to overcome a deficit. LSU really has not had to overcome any kind of deficit this whole season, and the game they lost to Florida was pretty close most of the way.

USC does have a much superior offense to that of LSU, and I guess it is pick your poision...either the LSU defense or the USC offense. I am not saying the USC defense is bad by any means, and I actually think USC is the better all around team over LSU, but I just think so highly of LSU's defense that I think it poses a bigger threat to OU.

Now watch LSU lose to Arkanslaw this Friday to make me look idiotic, for those LSU vs. Arkanslaw games are always crazy.

If USC does play OU, I would love to see the Mike Williams vs. Derrick Strait matchup.

Oklahoma. No doubt. USC and LSU could keep pace with them for at least 3 quarters but neither have the talent OU does.

No one knows that for sure. They all play in different conferences. We'll see who has the better talent when they actually play.

Yeah, Alex, it's sketchy to suggest that the Sooners are overwhelming talent-wise.

They have three guys on defense who are among the best at their positions, as does LSU... (same three positions, btw)

OU's WRs are good, but they aren't amazing, and none match, in my mind, Colbert and Williams of USC. I think Leinart is probably a touch more talented at QBing than White.

As for O lines... I give the edge to SC over the other two. SC runs, if not at will, most of the time they want to run. OU counts on the ploy of running draws out of the spread and in general has no big thing to offer at the HB position anyway. None of OU's runners would start ahead of the Trojans' Trio of Trucks.
