Default Who would you rather?

No, not that game you dirty dog...

I'm talking about football players. I thought this might be a fun game. One poster names 2 players at the same position and you say who you would rather have on your team. The situation is for one season, so youth isn't a huge advantage.

I will start us off:

Who would you rather have at WR:

T.J. Houshmandzadeh or Hines Ward?

If we are talking for only ONE season (which we are), I take Warner.

Jamal Lewis or Matt Forte?

That one is easy: Matt Forte. Lewis is on the downside of his career and Forte is a much better pass catcher out of the backfield than Lewis ever was.

Brady Quinn or Matt Leinart?

Give me Brady Quinn. Still a question mark, but higher upside IMO.

Troy Palamalu or Bob Sanders

All things being equal I'd take Palmer. I think he is a guy that win games for you whereas when Roethlisberger gets into games where he forced to throw the ball and win games he is an iffy proposition.

But given that Palmer has bum wing I think I need to see him come back from that before taking him over Roethlisberger.

Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson?

That's tough, but I have to take Fitz. He's proven it whereas Calvin has a lot to show me before I can consider him on the same level as Larry Fitzgerald.

Now, this is going to take a turn, let's bring in historic players. The stipulation is that you get the player for one season, in their prime.

Barry Sanders or Jim Brown
