Default Kuerten to be ready for FO

Kuerten is scheduled to be back playing at the end of this month! That gives him almost a whole month to get ready for the French. Granted I am sure he wants more time than that, he must be excited he gets to play!!!

I may have to go edit my thread about my predictions for the French!

Why was he sidelined? Haven't been following tennis in the offseason, but will more now and into the summer.

He had (hip?) surgery...

Norman had a similar surgery but was sidelined much longer and is still struggeling to make it back. Kuerten was up and somewhat walking the next day after surgery. I believe that Kuerten is 2 months out of surgery now and the doctor's have given him the OK. Much sooner than expected!

If he can do ok in these next few tournaments before the French and build some confidence I am sure he will do well.

Hopefully he can get into the latter part of the tournaments or win them. he will need as much time on that clay as possible. He fitness will be tested...
