Default PSU at Ohio State

Tonight at 8 pm. Predictions...

I'll take Ohio State, Pryor is just too good. He's the next Vince Young.

Ohio State looked really good last week and I had been thinking PSU in a tight one. Not so sure anymore, even though I shouldn't be surprised about the OSU/MSU game because I generally thought Michigan State was overrated.

This seems like it could wind up a blow out in Penn State's favor or a close one and after the game with MSU last week, I think a close one favors the Buckeyes. But, I don't see the Buckeyes routing just because offensively PSU will put some points up on them.

Considering the entire country hates them and thinks they suck, that seems impossible to me...

Pryor is gonna be a great one, but I see the offense struggling a bit. Penn State should be able to win the battles on the lines. It's their game to lose. Pryor will have to make good decisions and play older than he is, and will be forced to throw a bit more than we have been. The fact that this is a night game in the Horseshoe leads me to believe that Tressel will be able to scrape together a victory here.

OSU-30
PSU-24

The last team to beat OSU at the Shoe in a night game went on to play in the National Championship game(Texas). I see the same for the Nittany Lions tonight. They are just playing too good of football right now and they are going to force Pryor's hand in this game.

Yeah, I agree with that, like Ricky said, he is going to be great, but you can't really say that about him yet. Penn State should be able to mix it up on him more than Michigan State could do.

Congrats to JoePa and Penn State. I had been pulling for them up until tonight, and will be for the rest of the way. This was a fun game to watch, despite the fact that it didn't end well for us after that costly turnover. The O-Line just couldn't get it done against a very good Penn State front.

On a side note, its interesting to me how self-critical Pryor is. You don't usually see that quality combined with the kind of talent he has. He could be one of the greats in this program.

Pryor running the ball in the Michigan State game really looked a lot like Vince Young during his National Title year, already. His potential is just through the roof, that was a tough break on that fumble late that turned the course of that game.

Might have to bring the judges in on the OSU being overrated part, but nailed the PSU late.

Considering there are only two options: a blowout, or one team seals it late, I'd hold off on your claim to divinity...

Anyway, what a great night for Pennsylvannians--PSU gets its biggest win in how long? And the Phils take game 3 of the World Series. The game was even rain-delayed long enough for their fans to be able to see both games.

Penn State did Buckeye fans (and the rest of the country) a favor by keeping the Buckeyes out of another Championship slaughter.

And while JoPa is nearly a ghost himself, he's got a much clearer path to an undefeated season now than he did a week ago.

Yeah, but now Penn State's in that Championship slaughter. Although, I'm not entirely convinced they would get crushed by a Big 12 opponent as badly as they would an SEC one.

I read that PSU students lit stuff on fire and turned over cars following the win. That's very considerate of them to imitate OSU.
