Default David Boston Screws Up (Again)

Boston was arrested two weeks ago near Tampa and will be charged with DWI after blood test results come back. "It's not going to be pretty" says one insider -620 WDAE

They tested for weed and alcohol and nothing came back so further tests were done. Results to be released by the league tomorrow.

Tested possitive for GHB.

GHB, or gamma hydroxybutyrate, has been abused in the U.S. since about 1990 for its euphoric, sedative, and anabolic (body building) effects. It is a central nervous system depressant that was widely available over-the-counter in health food stores during the 1980s and until 1992. It was purchased largely by body builders to aid in fat reduction and muscle building. Street names include "liquid ecstasy," "soap," "easy lay," "vita-G," and "Georgia home boy."

This guy was/is a physical specimen, it just amazes me how these guys with the world in their hands can manage to throw it away.

Doesn't Sebastian Janikowski also have a GHB-related incident in his past?

And David Boston was still in the league? You could have fooled many if not most people.

Bucs reached an "injury settlement" with Boston today. Funny part is he was listed as probable on the injury report?????

The Bucs need a complete overhaul. The front office is freaking embarrassing.

Could be worse mush.

You coulda started a QB on Sunday, played him for a quarter and a half and then traded him the next day.

:thumbsup2:

Yeah, he does. There was talk of deporting him when it happened but I think he ended up with probation when all was said and done.

Then again, they won't even deport an illegal alien for raping a 5-year-old girl - as happened (or didn't happen) in that case in New Jersey - so why would they deport a legal alien for possessing GHB?
