Default Panthers

Were the panthers wins just flukes in the first two play-off games or do they actually have a strong chance at Superbowl 40

Looks like there rushing offense isn't gonna be very productive this weekend without Foster so they are gonna be relying on the passing game a lot, I like Seattle going to the Super Bowl.

Don't sell Nick Goings short for the Panthers. The guy may not be flashy but he is a grinder who will eat up yards for you. He was the Panthers starting RB when they won five of their last seven games and he went for 100+ in those five wins. He had over 1,200 yards of total offense and 7 TDs last year. That is pretty good production for the number three guy on your depth chart.

Yea definitley, Goings is great considering he is a number three RB, he just doesn't have much postseason experience and I think the Panthers would feel much more comfortable having Foster starting and then being able to throw Goings in there for a change of pace.

Goings might not affect them as much because they have a good air attack

Well the only real aerial threat on the Panthers is Steve Smith, although he is a playmaker so he has the ability to carry their passing game by himself.

I don't want to take anything away from their wins... BUT - they lucked out on the sched facing 2 in-experienced QB's. The Giants game they played great and won flat out. But the Chicago game was a laugh. That was easily the "lock of the week". Everyone knew Grossman was going to lose as young and in-experienced as he is. However, that said IMO Grossman played a good game - better than I expected... but yeah, they still lost.

Obiously, but he isn't really considered a threat to most defenses.

Mangum only had around 22 or 23 catches all season and about 2 or 3 touchdowns, they barely utilize him in the passing game.
