Default TO Wearing Out His Welcome

It won't come as much of a surprise to most but it appears as though love affair between TO and Romo is coming to an end:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3763209

Here is my favorite part:
Quote:
Owens feels that Romo and Witten -- close friends and road roommates who came to Dallas in the same offseason -- hold private meetings in which they create plays the two will use in upcoming games without including Owens in the conversations, according to a source who speaks regularly with Owens' teammates. Owens believes these discussions have worked to his detriment as Romo seeks to deliver the ball to Witten regardless of whether Owens is open.
Are they for real with this? Why is it that everytime TO struggles it is always someone else's fault and never his own?

I said it before when they dealt for Roy Williams and I say it again, I won't be at all surprised if this is Owens' last year in Dallas.

Wow this is shocking. Who would have ever thought this kind of behavior could come from TO?? I cant believe TO would do something like that, hes always been a team player.....

Well, since T.O. always wanted to play with Brett Favre, his next destination should be obvious.

I doubt he would be happy in NY either because Favre seems to like to spread the ball around more. Laverneus Coles has been complaining that Favre doesn't throw him the ball because he likes other guys on the team better. I am sure TO would draw the same conclusion when he is not the leading receiver by 20 catches 12 games into the season.

What makes this even more petty is that since Romo has come back from his injury TO has caught more passes than Witten: 20 to 18 and he has had roughly 20 or so more balls thrown his way. Is it Witten's fault that he does a better job of getting open and goes all out for every ball thrown his way? If Romo and Witten are cooking up all of these plays for Wittent to get the ball then how is it that TO is getting more passes thrown his way in general?

I agree; but be honest - isn't this a whole lot of fun to watch?

Unless it's your team he's doing it to, of course.

Yes it is as being an Eagles fan for over 20 years I loathe everything about the Cowboys so in my opinion it could not be happening to a better team.

Actually, I think its pretty funny as well, being a Cowboys fan. Its what Jerry gets for ripping Barber in the media, who's been carrying your team. Everybody, Jerry included, this was going to happen at some point as its just in TO's blood.

Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise and screw the team up enough to miss the playoffs this year, then get us a good head coach, but i doubt Jerry would go out and get a good head coach, so either way it will probably be a lose-lose situaton

What is wrong with WR's??? They gotta realize that there are more than 1 when they line up.

The latest has Witten and TO almost coming to blows on Friday:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3767580

If true it should be interesting to see how many balls each guy gets thrown his way tonight.

Chalk this up as a loss for the Cowboys and the new head coaching search to begin soon.....

I love how arrogant WRs like T.O. refer to themselves as "playmakers." He kept saying how Romo gets the ball in the "playmakers' hands." Please. Romo and Barber are just as much playmakers, probably more so, then him. He just catches and runs. The QB is the one who has to make the plays.

But T.O. isn't going to the Pro Bowl - and Witten is.

Guess karma isn't just drinking "Juice" these days!
