As to Homer Bailey, he will be in the Cincinnati rotation sooner rather than later. Arroyo has taken steps backwards, as was said, and Owings could give up 60 homers in that ballpark. One of those guys won't be in the rotation by the end of the season.

At least Owings won his spot in the rotation though. It just seems like Dusty gave Arroyo a spot in the rotation because he is the established veteran and he is healthy enough to pitch.

I doubt it affects Jeter, Posada, Matsui, etc. but I wonder how guys like Texeira, Burnett, and Sabathia handle it. Tex seems to be a guy who shies away from the spotlight and I still think one of the reasons Sabathia was initially reluctant to sign with the Yankees is the intense media scrutiny the team goes under throughout the season.
