Tampa's DL at #13 I seriously doubt that. Kiffin is a god, with Rice, Boogar, Hovan and Spires back no doubt they will be in the top 5 again this year.

Agreed, Mush...

Just like the Bear DL isn't #1 IMO, I think also a top 5 in my book. TB will rank up there soon enough once the games begin...

edit: I see that the Falcons Brian Finneran went down with an ACL. That's gotta have Vick on the run...

The Cardinals and Matt Leinart still haven't reached a deal and Tom Brady has been mysteriously missing from Patriots training camp.

Wow, I am surprised to see the Eagles at six since they still have some questions at end opposite of Kearse. I know Darren Howard is supposed to be the other starter but he is coming off a bad season and has some injury concerns.

Proof that the hits thru the years are pilin' up:

"Brett Favre hadn't yet been outside for practice, so you can't blame the following statement on the heat:

"I really feel like this is, as far as talent is concerned, the most talented team that I've been a part of as a whole," Favre said Monday morning."

I know what image he's tryin' to project but he shoulda left this one alone....

Belichick is known for holding studs out for stretches in training camp to avoid injury. This might be that kinda case. As for Leinart...typical Bill Bidwill dealings. I grew up in Arizona and saw it with just about every first round pick, he tries to jerk 'em around to save some money.

In other Eagles news, the Ashley Lelie rumors are making the rounds again!

I wouldn't mind having Lelie if he keeps his head out of his butt. Like the blurb said his ability to stretch defenses would open things up underneath for guys like L. J. Smith and Brian Westbrook.

According to some observers it isn't really a money thing with Lelie; he's pissed at being #3 on Denver's depth chart as a consequence of them trading for Javon Walker. Well he certainly wouldn't have to worry about being #3 if he came to Philly.

It is not entirely about money, he has been hinting that he wants an extensions from Denver, but that could just be his ploy to get traded. The asking price is supposedly a number three pick and so far the top bid has been a number four.

But, my reference to him having his head up his butt is more about what has precipitated the Broncos trading for Walker in the first place and that is he has gotten labeled as a lazy player who isn't interested in putting in the extra work it takes to be an elite reciever in the NFL.

The Packers need to sign Lelie (in an ironic twist of fate considering they traded Walker to the same team) or Joey Porter. Please do something, GB. They should have paid Walker, but oh well now.

Marc, whatever do you mean? To hear Brett Favre tell it this is the most talented team he has ever played with in Green Bay.
