I was on vacation all week down in Ocean City, MD (my only vacation of the summer). I had told Marc about it, he just forgot about it with all the stuff he had to handle around the site.How about you make the maximum width 480 pixels, and the maximum length 750??

Since it's Lee's idea ... he's helping me out with the challenge. Here's what's going to happen ...

Use your Paint program to draw the front page of SC. To keep the widths the same, everyone use 480 pixels wide, but they can make the thing as long as or short as they want. Also, everyone e-mail Lee their final thing so he can make the "collage". Use his [email protected] e-mail. If you have any questions, respond to this post.

You have until ... Friday, August 17 @ NOON (EST) ... about a week or so. Good luck to all, and sorry about the LONG delay. I NEEDED this vacation!

I know what you mean .... I got outta doing that stuff and did my own thing... well, Patrick did it, but it's my "own style"

Also, I can't wait to start receiving the e-mails/pics... I won't be putting them into a "collage" because it'd get to be too big, but what I will do is post them up on the web, and number them 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and then Jersey can look at them and determine which is the best.

Also, Jersey... what was the final ruling on using the text feature on the challenge???... is it a go, or no?

Finally, it would be very appreciated if you all sent your images into .gifs or .jpegs, 'cuz the .bmps are very large files, and I'm running on a 28.8 modem!

Text is optional. If it'll make your picture look good, use it. If not, leave it off. You don't get extra points one way or another.

I am not sure that Lee making a collage is such a good idea. From what I have seen, in the logos thread vote, when you shrink an image, it doesn't look too great.

I would be happy to do it after the contest is over... as I have experience.

But, if the logo thread was no indication and you have a quality graphic program (such as Photoshop or Fireworks) then thats fine Lee.

Lee, just shrink all the entries and put them into a collage, no need to post actual sizes...

Guys, it's not suspose to be an exact replica... if you can't aim for accuracy, aim for humor!!.... I had a few ideas I was going to do to make my "site" a comedy act..... but I guess I can't do that anymore since I was voted off :redhot:
