But St. Mary's wouldn't have gotten in had Gonzaga won.

Hard to say with St. Mary's. Granted the WCC typically only gets one bid, but, the conference is a little deeper than usual and St. Mary's does have a RPI ranking of 37 which is better than a lot of teams that are being talked about as getting at large bids.

I agree. A lot of people had them going further last year but they came up against a tough team. This year I think they can make the final 4 with a bit of luck.
