I had two friends who were assistants on last year's (sinking ship) team. Sounded like everyone was happy to get out of there. Nebraska is in some trouble in the Big 12. With the addition of coaches Mike Anderson to Missouri and Bob Huggins to K-State, Nebraska could find itself consistently in the middle of the lower half of the conference.

We have been consistently in the middle to lower half on the Big 12 in basketball for quite a few years now, I geuss we are used to it.

The problem for Nebraska is that the other teams who have spent most of the last decade in the lower half (K-State, Texas A&M, Baylor) have made significant upgrades in coaching the last two years, making it even more difficult for a lower-tier team to break through.

They really messed up by not firing him at the end of the season. They could have hired a much better coach. I do know that Sadler was on the short list for the Missouri job.

My girlfriend goes to college in Lincoln, so I've decided to start following the team this year. I really know nothing about them, except that they aren't too good - however, I'll still try and wear my Huskers shorts with pride.
