What a great game! I'm happy I stayed up to watch it, the Kings played out of this world and the Lakers looked more like the Clippers! The Lakers simply forgot Shaq was on the court for long stretches and the Kings were clicking on all gears with Webber hitting those jumpshots, Vlade making Shaq work on D, and Bibby spectacular from downtown.

It was a fun game that I thought the Lakers were going to come back and win in historic fashion when they cut the lead down to 11 in the fourth. What was with all those TOs? Great defense, but the Kings turned it over like 5 times in two minutes at one point down the stretch once the Lakers setup their press. You could literally see them unraveling at the seam and the Lakers gaining steam, but then Webber hit a shot to quiet things and Bobby Jackson hit a nice layup.

Regardless of the great win, I think the Lakers will redeem themselve in the next game.

By the way, what's the status of Peja? His return (when?) could give them a nice boost.

I'll write back when the Lakers win this series. Plus I love the way Spike you act as cocky as the Kings which is why I dont give the "love" and "respect" that you want me to give them. They are screaming and yelling after hitting baskets in the second quarter. Thats just uncalled for to be shooting off your mouth that early I dont care if your up by 100 points.

What in the world do you want him to do then?? Play Pollard the way Pollard can play against him. Is it fair when THREE guys and slapping Shaq's arms and hands down in the paint for a basket?

Well I know they are a cocky team, whine when they dont get calls (Thats a proven fact, up by 21 and Adelman complains about a call.) Yup they are a great basketball team and former Griz' Bibby is lifting his team up.

Kings in 7.

hehehe - I hope so anyways... I love watching their style of basketball.

That and I want to see Lord of the Triangle - PHILIP - at the press conference after they get beat crying about the referees, chefs, lack of desire etc.

GO KINGS GO

I'd believe it if Kobe still felt sick from his food poisoning. My friend got sick after eating some raw chicken at a restaurant and it messed up our vacation. He was bathroom bandit the rest of the time...

I don't know what's up with the Lakers, but I'm sick of my friend calling me from Sacramento every playoff to gloat.

Bibby's just increased his value tenfold the past few weeks. His playing has been unbelievable!

Lakers need to get into a gym and work on their shooting. Kobe got hot too little too late. Muhammed Ali came to see them play last night and they played like a high school JV team. Pitiful.

I knew this would be a good series, but this is starting to make me nervous.

It's unbelievable how strange it's getting. Have you noticed that both teams know they'll win, and both have faults?
I believe it's time to sit back and watch it develop.

Cool Lakers 100 , Kings 99

Hey Spike, can you help me say ... HORRY FOR THREE!!!

Hey Bibby, Webber, Divac all the Kings bench help me say ... HORRY FOR THREE!!!

Come on, you like to scream after hitting shots in the 2nd quarter how about screaming now? . Well well Robert Horry comes up huge with an amazing bucket while all the Kings and all the Kings men were off to ZzZzZ. Bryant showed why he should be and is the true MVP of the leauge with big baskets. Shaq powered down low and had a monster game.

Hmmm, they don't look like the same Lakers' team to me after 3 games.
Did they look like those good old Lakers tonight?

Hmmmm, they didn't look that good tonight

I guess not comfortable enough, eh Brian.
Pretty comfortable now, Spike

I just loved the way Vlade just stuffed Robert Horry's drive to the hoop!
I just loved Horry's stuff on Vlade in the 2nd quarter and a stuff to the cocky Kings team in the 4th.

Buzzzzzzzz. Wrong. Again.
What am I wrong about now?

You know jack crap about the Kings.

Now that's the Laker team I know and love! It took them awhile to show up, but they're back!

It felt so good to call up my friend in Sac after Horry's 3.

What a heart-breaking loss, but the Kings can recover at Arco. The Kings didn't play that bad, the Lakers just picked up their game. These games that are so full of swings are so nerve-racking.

A good game. A loss for the Kings, but a great shot for Horry. "Bryant misses, rebound by O'Neal. O'Neal...misses. Horry has the ball...Horry, for the win... YES!"

Vlade could of saved the game by knocking the ball away from Horry or up or something, but you must put it behind you.

It's easier to say after the game.
