Default Midnight Madness: College hoops season is here!!!

Will be watching coverage of various schools' Midnight Madness tonight on ESPNU HD, from 9 PM to 1 AM, including my Wildcats. Is anyone else PUMPED?! John Wall is many's preaseason player of the year and I can't wait to see him play with blue on.

I watched a few minutes of their coverage last night while flipping through the channels looking for something to watch and talk about boring. They showed some of the Kentucky "scrimmage" and it looked like a bunch of kids at the playground trying to one up each other. Yawn.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ready and excited for the season, especially with the high hopes that are on my Boilers. I just can't bring myself to get excited about the first practice.

I watched a good portion of ESPN's coverage and found it interesting to see how all the schools were throwing their own season launch party. Kentucky had rapper Drake there, which was odd considering I don't know his connection, but it was quite a moment with Cal gave his big speech. People said it was akin to Obama at Invesco Field! John Wall is going to be the biggest name in the nation, I'm telling you...
